Physiotherapy in the workplace
Physiokinetic can provide an on-site solution for employees with musculoskeletal problems (where practicably possible). We can offer an appointment within 1 working day so that one of our highly experienced team can assess, diagnose and begin treatment with as little time delay as possible. This service aims to provide the best possible care for the employee whilst minimising the time lost to the company through absence and travelling to and from appointments.
Physiotherapy in the clinic
It may be more appropriate or practical for an employee to have treatment at one of our clinics in Birmingham or Solihull. All of our clinics have extensive free car parking facilities and are close to bus routes making access easy.
‘Work Fit’ classes
Physiokinetic offers a specialist ‘Work Fit’ service that targets the problem of spinal pain with emphasis on low back pain. It educates staff about the basic functional anatomy of the spine, discusses office ergonomics, moving and handling and provides practical help in the terms of flexibility, strengthening and relaxation exercises. The course is not only for those who are currently experiencing symptoms but is also suitable as a preventative strategy for those who are at potential risk. The courses are flexible in their length and content but are designed to run over a period of 2 sessions so that the exercises can be monitored and reinforced. Each employee is provided with a simple guide to low back pain that they can continue to use in the future. The courses are an invaluable tool not only for the finances of your company but also for the well being of your employees.
