Directions to The University Practice

The University Practice is best approached through the University's North Gate. The North Gate car park entrance is situated on the main University of Birmingham campus. It can be accessed on Pritchatt's Road. The entrance is on your left if coming up Pritchatt's Road from Edgbaston Park Road or your right if you are coming over the canal/railway bridge from Harborne direction.

The entrance of the North Gate car park is quite distinctive; there is a large tarmac turning area, with the entrance barrier between the black metal gates. It is also signposted as 'North Gate' (see photo).

The car park is a 'Pay and Display', costing £1. The ticket machine is situated on the left side of the car park 10 metres past the barrier. Once parked and ticketed, make your way to the right side of the car park (when facing towards the university campus/away from car park entrance).

There is an opening in the fence/hedge onto a path running from left to right (see third photo). Turn left and move towards the steps. Descend the steps and cross over the road (university ring road). Turn right and follow the pavement down the slope.

After approximately 150-200m, there is a further zebra crossing which takes you back across the ring road and to the entrance of the Munrow Sports Centre. The building is signposted 'The Munrow Sports Centre'. Go into the Sports Centre and tell the receptionist that you have a physiotherapy appointment. They will then direct you to the clinic room.
