Welcome to Physiokinetic Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries clinic, Birmingham. On this website, you will find all the information required to start your recovery following a road traffic accident or an accident at work. Our physiotherapists have seen thousands of cases of Whiplash in their careers. We therefore understand your situation and know how to help you get better.
All of our physiotherapists have been qualified for at least 10 years and have extensive experience in this specific area (see Meet the Team). They are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council.
Our approach is formulated on the latest evidence-based whiplash guidelines provided by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Treatment is based on the findings of a detailed discussion and examination process and usually combines ‘hands on’ treatment as well as a home exercise programme and self management advice.
Following the initial and final assessments, the referrer will be provided with a physiotherapy report detailing a history of the incident, the results of a validated outcome measure used in Whiplash, assessment findings and recommendations for future management.
